  1. General Provisions and Acceptance

KORPO.COM (the “Site”) is owned by KORPO S.R.L. The registered office is [Via XX Settembre 3/28, 16121 Genoa]. Access to and use of the Site are governed by these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”). By using the Site, the user fully accepts these Terms and KORPO’s Privacy Policy.

Site Audience: The Site is exclusively intended for physicians and healthcare professionals (“Professional User”). Access is restricted, and by using the Site, the User declares to be a qualified healthcare professional.

  1. Amendments to the Agreement

KORPO reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The amendments will be effective upon publication on the Site. In the event of substantial changes, KORPO will inform Professional Users via email or through a prominent notice on the Site with at least [15] days’ prior notice. Continued use of the Site after this period constitutes acceptance of the changes.

  1. Intellectual Property and Copyright

All contents of the Site (data, information, text, graphics, images, videos, trademarks, trade names, URLs) are the exclusive property of KORPO S.R.L. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and industrial property laws.

  • The Professional User may download content only for personal, non-commercial use, provided that no changes are made.
  • KORPO’s trademarks and distinctive signs may not be used without the prior written authorization of KORPO S.R.L.
  1. License and Responsibility for User Content

The Site allows registered Professional Users to post questions and other materials (“User Content”).

  • The User is solely responsible for all User Content they post or transmit through the Site, including its veracity and accuracy.
  • The User grants KORPO a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, copy, distribute, publicly display, and modify such User Content in connection with the operation of the Site.
  • The User undertakes not to disclose, in any way, sensitive information (e.g., patient photos, personal health data) in violation of privacy regulations (GDPR).
  1. Rules of Conduct and Prohibited Content

It is prohibited to use the Site to:

  • Post illegal, defamatory, offensive, threatening Content, or Content that violates the privacy or intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Violate or circumvent the Site’s security measures or send viruses, worms, or other malicious code.
  • Impersonate another person or entity or manipulate identifiers to conceal the origin of any Content.

KORPO reserves the right to remove any non-compliant Content and to suspend or block access to the Site for any Professional User at its sole discretion.

  1. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

INFORMATIONAL NATURE: The Site is a platform for exchange and communication among professionals. The Content posted by Users or by KORPO does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional opinion in any case. The Professional User is solely responsible for their clinical and professional decisions, and reliance on any information obtained through the Site is at their exclusive risk.

LIMITATION: KORPO S.R.L. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss of profits or data, arising from the use or inability to use the Site.

  1. Privacy and Electronic Communications

Use of the Site is subject to KORPO’s Privacy Policy, which governs the collection and use of personal data.

  • Communications through the Site or via email constitute electronic communications. The User accepts that such communications have validity equivalent to written communication.
  1. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site may contain links to external websites. KORPO has no control over such sites and is not responsible for their content, nor for any damages resulting from accessing them. These links are provided for the user’s convenience.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with Italian Law.

The Court of Genoa shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this Agreement.
